READY TO HARVEST ON THE FARM June 9-16 LOVE FIELD & FIELD 3– Gated Areas Open Monday-Friday from 7:15 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Love Field: Cucumbers, peppers (bell, cayenne, and jalapeño), and collard greens (may be the last week) Field 3: Yellow squash, white scallop squash (pattypan), peppers (bell, cayenne, and jalapeño), tomatoes (limited), and eggplant (limited) Big Field: Cucumbers and kale Volunteer activity on Wednesday, June 10, from 9:00 AM to Noon Weed control and training vines in the Love and Big fields Wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Also, bring gloves, water & sun protection. The People's Patch, located at 3701 Meridian Street in Huntsville, Alabama, is a free U-pick farm that provides fresh produce to Madison County residents from dawn to dusk. Visitors can bring their own bags and harvesting tools and pick enough produce for themselves and their families to enjoy.
