Location: The project begins at the intersection of Hwy 231/431 and Walker Ln and ends at the intersection of Walker Ln and Butler Rd. The total project length is about 5 miles.

Project Description: The project includes the installation of 25,000ft of PVC pipe to replace existing mains. Customer water services will be transferred to the new main, once installed. Repairs to roadway surfaces, driveways, and landscaping will be completed as the project progresses and after the bulk of the water main installation is complete. There may be temporary impacts to traffic routing due to lane closures as the work progresses.

Project Timeline: The project is currently under construction and should be complete by March 2026. 

Need for Project: This project replaces aging, undersized water main along Hwy 231/431. The new water main has a larger diameter and will better support growth in Hazel Green.
