Home MenuCounty Lake Rd Main Upgrade
Location: The projects begin at the intersection of Maysville Rd and runs east and then south to the intersection of County Lake Rd and Hurricane Creek Rd. The project will be broken into two phases--Maysville Rd to Hurricane Creek in the north, then Hurricane Creek north to Hurricane Creek south. The total project length is about 5.5 miles.
Project Description: The project includes the installation of 29,000 feet of ductile-iron and PVC pipe to replace existing mains. Customer water services will be transferred to the new main, once installed. Repairs to roadway surfaces, driveways, and landscaping will be completed as the project progresses and after the bulk of the water main installation is complete. There may be temporary impacts to traffic routing due to lane closures as the work progresses.
Project Timeline: The project is being constructed in two phases (see below), and both are expected to begin in early 2026 and be completed by Summer 2026.
