Location: The project runs the entire length of Banyon Rd in Toney, AL. The total project length is about 1 mile.

Project Description: The project includes the installation of 5300 feet of PVC and Ductile Iron pipe to replace existing mains. Customer water services will be transferred to the new main, once installed. Repairs to roadway surfaces, driveways, and landscaping will be completed as the project progresses and after the bulk of the water main installation is complete. There may be temporary impacts to traffic routing due to lane closures as the work progresses.

Project Timeline: This work has been completed and is now in the warranty stage. 

Need for Project: This project replaces aging water main along Banyon Rd that has seen numerous main breaks in recent years.
