The Madison County Purchasing Department procures equipment, materials, supplies and services for Madison County offices. Invitation for Bids are sent to vendors that are registered through the Madison County Bidder Registration System. Vendors return sealed bids to the Purchasing Department prior to 2:00 p.m. on the opening date. In cases where purchases will not exceed $15,000.00, a high level of competition is also maintained through quotations, which is more flexible. Minor purchases under $1,000.00 may be purchased by county departments upon approval from the Purchasing Department.

Vendors may now receive payment from the Madison County Commission via Automated Clearing House (ACH). Please complete the form and return it and all required documents to the Purchasing Department. An email listing of invoices paid will be sent to the email address on file when an EFT is generated through our Accounts Payable process

The Purchasing Warehouse inventories and distributes supplies to county offices. This facility is approximately 10,000 square feet, and is where larger supplies are stocked.
