All registered schools are invited to participate in the contest each year. The winning student will receive a check for $50 and the teacher receives a $50 gift card during the Festival! Instructions will be sent in January to the registered schools.
Registered schools are invited to apply for financial assistance to cover bus costs - partial or full. The deadline to request assistance is November 7, 2019. Download the application form by clicking on "2020 transportation". The Festival Advisory Committee meets to approve funding for transportation assistance. Schools will be notified in January. This assistance is possible because of the many generous sponsors!
When submitting the school registration form, teachers may request a certain day and/or session. The scheduled dates and times will be distributed to the participating schools during the month of April (earlier if possible).
The teacher’s resource packet will help prepare your students for the Madison County Drinking Water Festival. You will find valuable information and activities pertaining to the drinking water of Madison County in the packet. Delivery of the packets will be approximately one week prior to the festival.
