NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

FISCAL YEAR 2025 COMMUNMITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM APPLICATION

Madison County will hold a Public Hearing on July 22, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in the Madison County Public Works Conference Room at 266 Shields Road, Huntsville, Alabama 35811 to review Madison County’s submission of an application for the Fiscal Year 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program.

Madison County is interested in obtaining all citizens’ input on community development needs within the County. Activities eligible for funding include improving public works, public facilities, housing rehabilitation, and others allowed by law. At least 51% of the funds must be used to benefit low and moderate-income persons. The County is proposing to apply for $400,000.00 in funding to construct water line improvements on Wall Road and Brownsboro Acres/Moontown Road.
